Weizmann Institute of Science - Alumni Project
Consultation to inform the development of
a Weizmann Alumni Strategy
What is this alumni project about?
The Weizmann Institute of Science is embarking on a project to coordinate the Feinberg Graduate School (FGS) alumni practice. With over 10,000 alumni, Weizmann has an opportunity to support alumni and to harness the value of alumni across programs, research, and technology transfer.
Currently, alumni connection is primarily through the Alumni Association and there is potential to thread alumni engagement across the Institute. A strategic, coordinated alumni practice can also bring together these Weizmann alumni worldwide for networking and synergies to support prospective and current Weizmann students, recent graduates, and seasoned alumni.
To consider the program’s alumni engagement in as thoughtful and informed manner as possible, Weizmann has engaged Dr Maria Gallo, alumni scholars of KITE – Keep in Touch Education and appointed an Core Group and Steering Group to lead and advise this study to:
Identify ways alumni can engage or re-engage with the Weizmann aligned to and contributing to the Institute’s mission;
Understand the ways alumni can find mutually beneficial ways to engage with Weizmann for their own personal, career and professional development;
Design a strategy to deliver such items of value to alumni and to the Institute.
This project is running from January 2022 to May 2022.
